What a undertaking this is.......
I alway like the fun part of things and never the "real work". This blog is a real challenge but it seems to be teaching me a great deal. Please bare with me while I get this going. I have many pictures I need to edit and get posted. If you see something that "catches your eye" it can be yours.
The story behind Focal Point Jewelry… I recently went through a very trying time; a time where I felt worthless about myself and my future. One thing I learned to do was create jewelry. When I was told I could learn how, I was intrigued but unsure.
The day came and I was overwhelmed but determined. I saw one thing, a butterfly charm that I knew I wanted and I begin to build around this. I was amazed at thebeautiful bracelet that was the outcome of the attempt. I kept doing this week after week and was told I had a “knack” or “a keen eye.” I wasn’t sure about this as a talent but one thing I know is; as each piece came to life - so did I. For the first time in many years I did not feel like a failure.
I later learned that the one piece I built around was called a focal point. I was immediately reminded of something my mom always says: “Keep your eyes on Jesus.” When Jesus is my focal point and I build my life around Him all is beautiful. Jesus causes me to look great and in turn when I wear Him as I should I give Him glory. The same is true with the beautiful jewelry He has gifted me to create. He is the Focal Point behind each piece which allows each person wearing it to have not just a beautiful unique piece of jewelry that makes them look and feel marvelous but to be in possession of a by-product of my relationship with Jesus.
